The Templeman Lab is currently recruiting motivated undergraduate and graduate students with an aptitude and enthusiasm for research. We also encourage prospective postdoctoral research fellows who have excellent publication records, relevant experience, and are competitive for national and international fellowships to contact us.
If you are interested in our work, send a brief introduction that details previous research experience and your research interests. Please also include your CV, a transcript, and a list of referees.
Potential graduate students should be familiar with the entrance requirements for the Department of Biology graduate program, and should also explore funding opportunities (including University of Victoria scholarships and NSERC or CIHR graduate scholarships). Undergraduate students who wish to gain research experience in our lab should consider the Honours program, Directed Studies, or applying for NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) or Science Undergraduate Research Awards (SURA).
We are committed to enhancing equity and diversity in our field, and to providing a supportive and inclusive research environment for all members of our lab. We encourage prospective candidates from underrepresented or equity-seeking groups in the sciences to apply to the Templeman lab.
