The Templeman Lab

Aging is characterized by cell and tissue deterioration that contributes to broader changes, such as a reduced capacity for reproduction, and increased susceptibility to diseases. However, the rate and severity of this decline is malleable. In the Templeman lab, the general goal of our research program is to better understand how to delay and slow the progression of age-related deterioration. We are studying signaling pathways and molecular mechanisms that regulate reproductive function and physiological changes during aging.
